6 dead in Russian helicopter crash

Severe weather conditions, technical malfunction may have caused crash, say officials
MOSCOW: A helicopter crashed on Wednesday in southeastern Russia killing all six crew members on board, emergency officials said.
The MI-8 helicopter crashed in Khabarovsk city during a training flight, according to a statement from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Severe weather conditions, technical malfunction and piloting error are among the possible reasons of crash, the ministry said.
The state government announced a day of mourning on Thursday in memory of the victims of the crash.–AA
