Benfica’s Turkish winger, Kerem Akturkoglu, was named the Player of the Month for the Portuguese Primeira Liga for September/October, the club announced on Thursday.
Akturkoglu, who earned 29.06% of the votes from league head coaches, scored five goals and provided two assists in 273 minutes over five matches. The 26-year-old, also named Forward of the Month for the same period, joined Benfica from Galatasaray in September.
