Canada-Spain agree to enhance bilateral ties

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM: The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez earlier today. Prime Ministers of both countries conversed about the strong interrelation shared by the two states and the powerful military collaboration of multinational battle group, a part of NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) led by Canada.
The discussion was continued with the expansion of bilateral trade relationship under the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement and other trade negotiations, the Venezuela situation and developments in Europe.
The Prime Ministers also discussed about the measures to address gender equality.
