Several key areas of the city were affected by the flooding, with streets such as Mimont, Sector Commander Maria, and Lower Avenue of Marechal Gallieni closed to traffic due to heavy runoff. The flooding led to extremely difficult driving conditions, prompting authorities to issue road closure advisories in multiple areas to ensure public safety.
Local officials also reported that damage had occurred in various locations, particularly in cellars and shops along République. While the flooding caused significant disruption, the municipality confirmed that there have been no reported victims or injuries, offering some relief to concerned residents.
