Iran condemns man to death for spying on Qasem Soleimani

An Iranian citizen had been sentenced to death after being convicted of spying on the late Quds Force Commander, Qasem Soleimani, government spokesman Gholamhossein Esmaili said.

A national from Iran, according to
government spokesman Gholamhossein Esmaili, has been declared sentenced to death as he was reported to be convicted of spying on the late Qasem Soleimani who is the Quds Force Commander.

Esmaili further revealed that Mahmoud Ismaili Majd has worked secretly for United States and Israel
and provided several information including whereabouts of Soleimani to the following countries.

However, Majd as the official claimed has worked for Quds Force and recently has been reported that he has provided security information about Iranian military including information about Qasem Soleimani and his locations of living and whereabouts in exchange for money.

Soleimani however died in a drone attack carried by US near Iraq’s Baghdad International Airport at the beginning of the following year.
