Jordan’s minister urges Blinken to halt “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi urged for international pressure to prevent Israel from committing “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza during his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in London.

On Friday, Safadi stated, “The humanitarian situation is extremely dire in northern Gaza, where we are witnessing ethnic cleansing, and that must come to an end.”

Blinken’s visit to London followed his extensive diplomatic tour of the Middle East, which included stops in Israel, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

Safadi expressed concern, noting that the situation in the region continues to deteriorate. “Despite our efforts, we have an Israeli government that isn’t listening to anyone, and that needs to change,” he added.
