Kassow Robots establishes a sales and support team in US

Copenhagen / Kastrup, Nov. 7, 2023 – Kassow Robots, a pioneer in 7-axis industrial cobot solutions for various applications like machine tending and material handling, has launched a dedicated U.S. team for sales and support. The team comprises Regional Channel Partner Managers Jim Adamski and Collin Ayres, along with Technical Support Engineer Chris Hapsias, who will collaborate with sales partners, integrators, and distributors across the United States. Kassow Robots, now majority-owned by Bosch Rexroth since 2022, aims to strengthen its presence and extend its outreach in the U.S. market.

Dieter Pletscher, Global Sales Manager at Kassow Robots, expressed, “This team will facilitate closer collaboration with our U.S. partners, enabling us to explore new markets and expand our customer base.”

Jim Adamski, with over 30 years of experience in factory automation and previous involvement with Bosch Rexroth, is tasked with supporting partners east of the Mississippi River and in Iowa. Adamski is eager to assist U.S. companies in automating their operations efficiently and addressing labor challenges using Kassow Robots’ versatile 7-axis cobots.

Collin Ayres, recently graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, is appointed as the Regional Channel Partner Manager, focusing on expanding Kassow Robots’ presence in North America, particularly in the western U.S. Ayres is excited about the potential of Kassow Robots’ cobots in industrial settings due to their flexibility and ease of use.

Joining the team as Technical Support Engineer is Chris Hapsias, leveraging his expertise in factory automation, specifically in autonomous mobile robots (AMR). Hapsias will provide technical support and training to Kassow Robots’ U.S. distributor network, highlighting the impressive capabilities and user-friendly interface of the KR Series cobots.

Kassow Robots’ 7-axis lightweight cobots offer increased maneuverability and flexibility, thanks to their unique seventh axis. With a compact footprint and intuitive programming, these cobots empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to implement cost-effective automation solutions independently, even without prior robotics expertise.
