Precision Strikes Target 26 Indian Military Sites Across IIOJK and Mainland

Operation Ends After US-Brokered Ceasefire; Pakistan Reaffirms Deterrence Capability

ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Armed Forces have officially announced the successful conclusion of ‘Operation Bunyanum Marsoos’, a high-intensity retaliatory strike carried out in response to recent Indian military aggression during the ongoing Marka-e-Haq conflict.

According to a detailed statement by DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the operation was launched on May 10, following Indian cross-border attacks on May 6–7 that resulted in the tragic deaths of civilians, including women, children, and elderly individuals in Pakistan.

Strategic Response and Missile Deployment

The Pakistan Army initiated the operation by deploying Al-Fatah missiles to precisely target 26 Indian military facilities, including airbases, logistical hubs, intelligence units, and artillery positions, both in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and mainland India.

The targets hit included key military installations in Suratgarh, Sirsa, Bhuj, Adampur, Halwara, Ambala, Pathankot, and Srinagar, among others. Additionally, S-400 missile systems and BrahMos storage facilities in Beas and Nagrota were successfully neutralized.

The operation, showcasing Pakistan’s tri-services joint capabilities, integrated land, air, sea, and cyber warfare elements to ensure real-time coordination and precision across multiple domains.

Drones and Cyber Warfare

The DG ISPR revealed that Pakistan’s armed drones conducted surveillance flights over major Indian cities, including New Delhi, demonstrating Pakistan’s advanced unmanned and long-range strike capabilities.

In tandem, Pakistan executed cyber operations targeting Indian military infrastructure, causing temporary disruption of operational capabilities.

Restraint with Resolve

Following U.S. diplomatic intervention, a full ceasefire was reached. DG ISPR emphasized that Pakistan never requested a ceasefire, asserting that the response was limited yet decisive, to avoid escalation while sending a strong deterrent message.

National Unity and Acknowledgments

The military spokesperson extended gratitude to all branches of the Armed Forces, as well as scientists, engineers, diplomats, political leaders, media personnel, and most importantly, the Pakistani public, for their unwavering support during this critical time.

“The support of our nation served as a powerful force multiplier. The entire country stood united like ‘Bunyanum Marsoos’—a steel wall—against enemy propaganda and aggression,” the ISPR stated.

Indian Involvement in Terrorism

The statement also underlined India’s escalated involvement in state-sponsored terrorism within Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, during the eastern front operations.

Pakistan’s military continues counter-terrorism operations on the western front, ensuring no lapse in national security, despite simultaneous challenges.

Final Remarks

In conclusion, the ISPR reiterated that any threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity would be met with swift and decisive retaliation, urging the global community to take note of India’s destabilizing actions in the region.
