Rssian Strike Hits Zaporizhzhia Hospital, Kills 4

On Thursday, a Russian guided bomb strike on Zaporizhzhia in southeastern Ukraine killed four people and injured 33, including a four-month-old girl and two young boys, aged one and ten, officials reported. Regional governor Ivan Fedorov shared that two people are critically injured, and more may be trapped beneath debris as rescue efforts continue.

The assault involved six bombs that struck civilian areas, hitting private homes, a five-story residential building, and an oncology center. Photos posted by Fedorov showed destroyed buildings, shattered windows, and bloodstains within the medical facility.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy condemned the attack, remarking that Russia’s actions undermine any claims of seeking peace. “They enjoy causing death,” he stated on X. Russian forces have recently intensified assaults on Zaporizhzhia, carrying out nearly 11,000 strikes on the region throughout October, Fedorov noted.
