Saudi crown prince, Google execs talk cybersecurity

Mohammed bin Salman is currently on a three-week tour of US
RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Friday paid a visit to Google’s San Francisco headquarters, where he discussed means of enhancing cooperation in the cybersecurity field with Google officials.
During the visit, bin Salman met with company founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, along with Google CEO Sundar Pichai and other senior company executives, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
According to the SPA, the meeting tackled “ways of boosting cooperation in terms of cloud computing services in the [Saudi] Kingdom and the promising opportunities in the digital… environment”.
They also reportedly discussed the possibility of establishing a research, development and training center for Saudi youth and “means of enhancing cooperation in the cybersecurity field”.
Bin Salman began a three-week visit to the U.S. on Mar. 20. Since then, he has met with a host of U.S. government officials and businesspeople.–AA
