Saudi MBS bans breaking Ramdan fast in Mosques

The notice mandates that iftar gatherings inside mosques are banned to uphold cleanliness. Instead, mosque authorities must organize iftar meals in suitable locations within mosque courtyards. Temporary rooms or tents for iftar purposes are strictly prohibited. Moreover, mosque leaders are barred from soliciting financial donations for iftar projects. To further regulate mosque activities, the use of cameras and photography is discouraged, and broadcasting prayers on any media platform is forbidden. Ramazan is anticipated to start on March 10-11 and end on April 9-10 in Saudi Arabia this year.– Web Desk
