Turkey, Free Syrian Army take complete control of Afrin


AFRIN, SYRIA: Syrian children return to their homes with their families, who was forced to live due to the oppression of YPG/PKK terror groups, in Afrin town center after Turkish Armed Forces and Free Syrian Army (FSA) took complete control of northwestern Syria’s Afrin from PKK/KCK/PYD-YPG and Daesh terror groups within the “Operation Olive Branch” on March 18, 2018. “Afrin town center was completely taken control of at 8.30 a.m.,” Erdogan said during his address at the ceremony of 103rd anniversary of Gallipoli Campaign. Troops entered the town center from east, west and north sides. According to the Turkish General Staff, the operation aims to establish security and stability along Turkey’s borders and the region as well as protect Syrians from terrorist cruelty and oppression.–AA
