Turkish official regrets act of hate on minority church

ANKARA- Late Saturday, a Turkish official made an announcement public calling that the country (Turkey) does its all might to remain the tie and brotherhood between Turkey and members of minority communities strong and more peaceful after an attack took place in Istanbul on an American church.

Fahrettin Altun who is Communications Director, in a tweet expressed his concerned on the recent attack and claimed for further support against incident happened on an American church. He further claimed that the incident was a source of sorrow and never closes silent as officials would follow the judicial process.

He had the condolences with the chair of the Surp Krikor Armenian Church Edvard Ayvazyan.

His comment however appeared viral after a cross at the church located in the Uskudar district of Istanbul, was broken by an identified man and later arrested by security authorities.
