The UK Home Office has started detaining illegal migrants targeted for deportation to Rwanda, as part of a new government strategy. This move follows the recent enactment of the Rwanda Bill, which allows for the deportation of asylum seekers to the East African nation. The government has prepared by increasing detention spaces and training additional caseworkers to expedite the process.
