Ukraine says North Korean troops are in Russia’s Kursk region.

KYIV, Ukraine

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense (GUR) reported that North Korean military units have been stationed in Russia’s Kursk region.

In a statement, GUR indicated that these units, trained in Russia, have entered the conflict against Ukraine.

Ukrainian intelligence officials mentioned that approximately 12,000 North Korean troops were sent to Russia, including 500 officers and three generals.

The statement added that the soldiers are supplied with ammunition, bedding, winter clothing, footwear, and hygiene products.
