An underground base was found at the finishing stage of construction in an area cleared from PKK/KCK/PYD-YPG and Daesh terror groups by Turkish Army and Free Syrian Army (FSA). The Turkish troops and Free Syrian Army fighters took control of the Afrin town center on March 18, 2018 as part of Operation Olive Branch, which was launched on Jan. 20 to clear the area of YPG/PKK-Daesh terrorists.
