CHICAGO (WLS) — Authorities are investigating the death of a woman in downtown Chicago, as reported by police.
She was discovered unresponsive around 7:20 p.m. at the base of the stairs of a residence located at Prairie Avenue and Roosevelt Road in the South Loop.
The cause of death has not yet been disclosed, pending an autopsy.
Her identity remains unknown.
Chicago Police detectives are currently looking into the matter.
