Chinese Girl Arrested for Illegal Entry into US

BUFFALO, N.Y. – On May 25, U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Buffalo Station thwarted a smuggling attempt, arresting a woman walking on train tracks into the U.S. from Canada at the International Railroad Bridge.

Agents observed the woman crossing the bridge into Buffalo and entering a vehicle. Border Patrol and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers intercepted the vehicle, arresting both occupants.

The woman, identified as a Chinese national, was charged with unlawful entry and returned to Canada. The male driver was also arrested and is awaiting prosecution.

Chief Patrol Agent Thomas G. Martin emphasized the dangers of smuggling activities, particularly in hazardous locations like railroad bridges, stating, “Border Patrol agents remain vigilant against those who endanger others and the community for profit.”–News Desk
