Counterfeit luxury jewelry seized in Minneapolis

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Minneapolis intercepted a shipment from Hong Kong containing 364 counterfeit luxury items on April 2. The seized haul included fake Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier, Chanel, Tory Burch, and Dior jewelry. Identified by their poor quality and incorrect branding, these items were destined for a residence in Hutchinson. Had they been genuine, their combined retail value would have exceeded $482,000. This seizure highlights the challenges of combating the illicit trade of counterfeit goods, which not only deceives consumers but also harms the economy and supports criminal activities. CBP reaffirms its commitment to protecting consumers and upholding brand integrity.–News Desk
