Herzog Slams Hamas Brutality, Urges Global Response

Hamas forced them to dig graves and threatened them with death. The group starved, tortured, and held them in terror tunnels.
Hamas doesn’t only harm hostages. It also steals aid meant for Gaza’s civilians and blocks humanitarian deliveries. Israel, along with global partners, continues working to increase that aid.
Now, Hamas spreads falsehoods and blames Israel to manipulate global sympathy. Their goal is to hide their own crimes.
“This is sheer cruelty,” President Herzog said.
He urged world leaders to act. “Demand the hostages’ release. Make sure civilians—not terrorists—receive aid,” he stated.
“This moment tests our humanity. Staying silent is not an option.”
