Israeli Army Raids Kafr Dan, Destroys Palestinian Vehicles

Palestine: Early Monday, the Israeli army conducted a raid in the town of Kafr Dan near Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, resulting in the destruction of several Palestinian vehicles.

Witnesses reported to Anadolu Agency that an Israeli military force stormed the town and searched several homes, leading to armed clashes between Israeli soldiers and armed Palestinians. Explosions were heard at various locations during the raid. The army destroyed multiple Palestinian vehicles before withdrawing from Kafr Dan.

The al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, issued a statement claiming they engaged in armed clashes with Israeli forces and targeted their vehicles with explosive devices.

Tensions in the West Bank have escalated since Israel launched a military offensive against the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7. Israel is currently facing accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which recently ordered Tel Aviv to halt its operations in Rafah, a southern Gaza city where over a million displaced Palestinians have sought refuge.–News Desk
