RIYADH:
The family of murdered Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi has denied any economic agreement with Saudi government.
“presently, the trial is taking place and no agreement dialogue had been or is mentioned,” the family stated in a statement on Twitter on Wednesday.
“The those who devoted and had been involved in this crime will all be brought to justice and face punishment,” it added.
last week, The Washington post said that Saudi Arabia had paid compensations to the family of the renowned journalist, bringing up that every of his children were given homes in Jeddah well worth as much as $four million as part of a preliminary economic settlement.
Khashoggi, a contributor to The Washington post, was killed on the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul last October.
