Putin Holds Bilateral Talks with Pakistani and Central Asian Leaders at SCO Summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin held brief meetings with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin, China, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
Peskov added that Putin held additional contacts during the SCO and SCO+ meetings with leaders from several countries, including Vietnam, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Putin arrived in China on August 31 to attend the SCO summit in Tianjin and later traveled to Beijing to participate in events marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
