Fatal Headshot Claims Woman’s Life in West Side Chicago Shooting
CHICAGO – A woman was fatally shot in the head Sunday evening on Chicago’s Near West Side, according to city police.
The incident occurred around 5:25 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Laflin Street, authorities said. Chicago police officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered a female victim with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
