During a visit to northern Israel on Tuesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with reserve soldiers, acknowledging their significant contributions and assuring them of the nation’s reliance on their service amidst ongoing security challenges.
Prime Minister Netanyahu was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Tzachi Braverman, his Military Secretary, Maj.-Gen. Roman Gofman, and the Head of Northern Command, Maj.-Gen. Ori Gordin. He engaged directly with the reservists, addressing their concerns and expressing gratitude for their dedication.
“I have come here first to express my tremendous appreciation for your service,” Netanyahu told the reservists. “We are committed to providing further support to you and your families in recognition of your incredible efforts since the war’s onset.”
Netanyahu praised the reservists for their outstanding spirit and determination, which have been crucial in maintaining the security of the state for many months. “On behalf of all citizens of the State of Israel, I want to tell you that you are marvelous. I rely on you, and the people of Israel rely on you,” he emphasized.
Reflecting on the sentiments shared by one of the soldiers, Netanyahu affirmed, “Because we are the people of Israel, nobody in the world is better than you. We are helping—and will help even more because you deserve it, and we must achieve our objectives, which are victory. We will achieve it with God’s help and with yours.”
The visit underscores the government’s commitment to bolstering military morale and ensuring the well-being of its service members as they continue to play a pivotal role in the region’s stability.–News Desk
