On September 4, 2024, competitors took the plunge into the Delaware River during a helocast event as part of the Army Reserve’s 2024 Best Squad competition near Army Support Activity, Fort Dix, New Jersey. The challenging event tested the physical endurance and teamwork of participating squads as they leaped from helicopters into the river.
The Best Squad competition is a rigorous annual event designed to assess soldiers’ tactical skills, teamwork, and resilience through a variety of demanding tasks.
