Tehran—the death toll from COVID-19 reaches 77, the Iranian health ministry confirmed.
Alireza Reisi, the deputy health minister confirmed 11 new deaths from the coronavirus while 835 more cases have been detected across the region in the last 24-hours, making the total number of infections 2,300.
Qom is the region where most of the cases were detected, as per the official statement.
Reisi informed more than 400 coronavirus patients were discharged from the hospital after being cured of the epidemic.
The coronavirus known as COVID-19 has killed no less than 3,044 people with more than 89,000 affected.
The world health organization has already declared a state of global health emergency while updating the global risk is very high.–Worldwide News
