Metra Trains Resume After Fatality

Metra service resumed after a fatal pedestrian incident on the Northwest Side Friday morning. The person, whose identity is unknown, was struck around 6:15 a.m. between Melrose and School streets. The incident caused delays to Union Pacific North trains near the Clybourn station, with outbound train #305 halted. The individual was reportedly trespassing. Service resumed around 8:40 a.m., with trains moving again.
