President Nominates Two Marine Colonels for General Officer Promotion

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced on Monday that the president has nominated two Marine Corps colonels for promotion to the rank of brigadier general.
The nominations highlight senior leadership roles within the Marine Corps and reflect continued efforts to strengthen command experience across key operational units.
Marine Corps Leadership Nominations
Col. Joshua E. Izenour has been nominated for appointment as a brigadier general. He currently serves as assistant wing commander of the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he oversees aviation operations and training.
In addition, the president nominated Col. Guillermo Rosales Jr. for promotion to brigadier general. Rosales now serves as officer in charge of the Marine Detachment at the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command, part of U.S. Transportation Command, in Norfolk, Virginia.
The nominations are subject to the standard confirmation process.
