Trump Says Iran Gave Advance Warning Before Missile Strike on US Base

U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed Monday that Iran had provided advance notice before launching a missile attack on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, enabling U.S. forces to take protective measures and avoid casualties.
In a statement posted on Truth Social, President Trump described Iran’s retaliation to recent U.S. strikes on its nuclear sites as “very weak” and indicated a desire to see tensions in the region decrease.
“I’m pleased to report that no Americans were harmed and there was minimal damage,” he wrote. “Most importantly, they’ve likely released their anger, and hopefully, there will be no further hate.”
Trump’s remarks come after Operation Midnight Hammer, a U.S.-led mission that inflicted significant damage on key Iranian nuclear facilities, prompting Iran’s limited missile response.
