Trump Warns Iran Over Flydubai Incident

Trump Threatens Strong Response Against Iran

US President Donald Trump said Thursday that Iran could face a strong US response if Tehran is found to have any connection to an incident involving a Flydubai flight traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv.

Responding to reporters who asked whether the US would retaliate against Iran if the country was linked to the incident, Trump said Iran would face a severe response.

The comments came after Flydubai flight FZ1073 was diverted while traveling to Tel Aviv and eventually made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

Flydubai said an altercation took place inside the aircraft’s cockpit, prompting crew members to intervene and secure the flight. The plane was later diverted safely to Saudi Arabia.

Following the incident, Flydubai suspended flights to and from Israel while authorities investigate what happened. The airline said the suspension would be reviewed as further information becomes available.

Trump also claimed in a Truth Social post that the US had previously said it would take several weeks to eliminate what he described as the Iranian nuclear threat. He added that the remaining period was intended to ensure the situation remained under control.
