U.S. Hails Successful Strike on Iranian Nuclear Sites

June 22, 2025 — Pentagon
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Gen. Dan Caine praised Operation Midnight Hammer, which heavily damaged Iran’s nuclear sites at Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Seven B-2 bombers deployed 14 bunker-buster bombs, supported by decoy aircraft and a submarine that launched over two dozen Tomahawk missiles. No casualties or retaliation were reported.

Officials stressed the mission aimed to prevent Iran’s nuclear weapon development, not regime change, and credited U.S. and Israeli coordination. Forces remain on high alert across the region.
