Yemen’s army targeted Houthi fighters, military vehicles and positions with drones across several fronts in the central Marib province on Monday, according to the Armed Forces Media Center.
The center said Yemeni military drones struck Houthi fighters on the Alam front in the Sixth Military Region, as well as the rear area of a Houthi camp in the same area.
Yemeni forces also carried out strikes against Houthi fighters in the Al-Zour-Rawdat Jaham area, along with air defense systems and a mortar position in the Al-Radha Mountains, it said.
Additional drone attacks targeted Houthi equipment in the Al-Kasara sector and fighters positioned on the Al-Akad front, according to the center.
It also reported an attack on Houthi fighters and vehicles that had arrived in the Al-Tibas area. The group was reportedly tracked by aircraft before being targeted with a 120-millimeter projectile launched from a Qasef-3 aircraft.
The Armed Forces Media Center released videos that it said showed the operations but did not provide details on possible casualties.
Fighting has periodically escalated across several Yemeni fronts since last month, with dozens of people reportedly killed or wounded on both sides.
Yemen had experienced relative calm since April 2022 following nearly 12 years of conflict between government forces, supported by a Saudi-led coalition, and the Iran-backed Houthis, who seized control of the capital, Sanaa, and large parts of the country in 2014.
