On March 11, 2024, at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Virginia, members of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, known as “The Old Guard,” along with the Army Band “Pershing’s Own,” held a ceremony to honor Australian Army Chief Lt. Gen. Simon Stuart and British General Chief of Staff Gen. Sir Patrick Sanders.
