Humanitarian Aid Reaches Gaza via Temporary Trident Pier

TAMPA, Fla. – Since the re-anchoring of the temporary Trident Pier to the Gaza beach on June 7, approximately 2,500 metric tons (5.5 million pounds) of humanitarian aid have been delivered through the maritime corridor.

Since May 17, over 3,500 metric tons (7.7 million pounds) of aid have been transported through this maritime route, supporting humanitarian organizations in their relief efforts.

In addition to these efforts, the U.S. Central Command conducted a humanitarian assistance airdrop into Northern Gaza on June 9, providing essential relief to civilians affected by the ongoing conflict. To date, the U.S. has airdropped more than 1,050 metric tons (2.3 million pounds) of aid, supplementing the assistance delivered via the maritime corridor.–News Desk
