North Riverside Park Mall, located in the near west suburbs of Chicago, has undergone a $9 million renovation, unveiling a more modern look just in time for the holiday shopping season. The extensive updates include new flooring throughout the mall, modernized ceilings, fresh common area furnishings, and a revamped main entrance. The renovations also feature updated lighting, wood-panel ceilings, and new second-floor handrails. These changes come after The Feil Organization announced a capital investment in the 1.4-million-square-foot mall earlier this year. The renovation is part of a wider trend of mall transformations in the Chicago area, with other shopping centers such as Westfield Old Orchard Mall, Golf Mill Mall, and Hawthorne Mall also undergoing significant upgrades.
