Trump To Fund Patriotic Ad Campaign

Trump Shifts Funding For 20 Million Campaign

US President Donald Trump said Monday that he plans to personally finance a $20 million advertising campaign promoting what he calls “Patriotic Ads,” following criticism over the use of taxpayer funds for the initiative.

Trump said on his Truth Social platform that he had decided to cover the campaign’s costs himself, along with funds he said he had raised for MAGA, Inc.

He argued that using government money for such advertising was a common practice but said he had chosen to change the funding arrangement despite criticism.

The $20 million campaign features Trump delivering voiceover messages focused on opposing socialism and communism while highlighting efforts to strengthen US manufacturing under his administration.

One of the advertisements includes Trump saying that he and his supporters will “liberate America” from political opponents and members of the media.
