Army Soldiers Fire M777A2 Howitzer in Northern Strike 24-2 Exercise

CAMP GRAYLING, Mich. — During Exercise Northern Strike 24-2 on August 7, 2024, Army Sgt. Jose Ochoa and Spc. Joseph Travino fired an M777A2 howitzer, contributing to one of the Defense Department’s largest reserve component exercises. Held at Camp Grayling, Northern Strike 24-2 involved over 6,300 participants from the United States and allied nations.

This extensive exercise is designed to enhance military readiness by integrating joint and partner forces across all domains of warfare.
