France condemns Israeli strikes on Gaza hospitals, calls for cease-fire

France slammed Israel’s recent military strikes on hospitals in Gaza, including the Kamal Adwan Hospital, which has now been rendered non-functional. The French Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern over the damage to vital healthcare infrastructure, stressing Israel’s duty to adhere to international humanitarian law, which mandates the protection of medical facilities during conflict.

In light of the escalating humanitarian crisis, France called for an immediate truce, highlighting the urgent need to address the dire conditions civilians face in Gaza. The French government reiterated that only a ceasefire could facilitate the delivery of critical aid, the release of hostages, and ensure the protection of civilians.

This latest condemnation adds to international pressure for Israel to halt its attacks on essential healthcare services and negotiate a lasting peace agreement for the sake of innocent lives.
