TEL AVIV, Israel – On Monday, June 17, 2024, Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant met with Amos Hochstein, Senior Advisor to U.S. President Biden, at the Ministry of Defense headquarters in Tel Aviv.
The meeting began with an extended one-on-one session between Minister Gallant and Mr. Hochstein, followed by a bilateral discussion involving professional teams from both sides.
During the meeting, Minister Gallant provided a detailed assessment of the current situation on Israel’s northern border. He highlighted the daily attacks launched by Hezbollah against northern Israeli communities and outlined the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) ongoing efforts to counter Hezbollah terrorists and dismantle their infrastructure.
