Iran Launches Drones At Sheikh Isa Base

Iran Claims Drone Strike On US Base

Iran’s Army said Wednesday that it had carried out a drone attack against a US military facility in Bahrain, targeting installations at Sheikh Isa Air Base. Iranian state media described the operation as retaliation for what Tehran called US military aggression against southern Iran.

According to a statement from the Army’s Public Relations Department, the attack was part of the 29th phase of Operation Saeeqah.

Iranian forces claimed they launched large-scale drone strikes against radar systems and facilities used by US personnel at Sheikh Isa Air Base.

Iranian authorities described the base as an important US military facility in the Persian Gulf. They said it is involved in the maintenance and repair of helicopters and drone equipment, while also hosting reconnaissance aircraft.
