Iran Warns Trump Against Repeating Past Policy Error

Tehran Signals Diplomatic Readiness Amid Rising Tensions

Iran Calls on Trump to Avoid Repeating June Error, Signals Openness to Diplomacy

Tehran says military force cannot stop technological progress, blames Israel for escalating tensions

Iran has urged former US President Donald Trump not to repeat what it described as a serious miscalculation made in June, while reaffirming its readiness to pursue diplomatic engagement with Washington.

Speaking to US media, Iran’s foreign minister emphasized that technological development cannot be eliminated through military action. He argued that force-based strategies have repeatedly failed and warned against further escalation in the region.

Iran stresses diplomacy over confrontation

The foreign minister stated that Tehran remains open to dialogue, provided negotiations are conducted with mutual respect and without coercion. He highlighted that diplomacy, rather than pressure, offers the only viable path to long-term stability.

Moreover, he cautioned US policymakers against policies that could deepen conflict, stressing that Iran prefers engagement over confrontation.

Israel accused of fueling regional tensions

In addition, the Iranian official accused Israel of provoking instability in the Middle East. According to him, Israeli actions aim to intensify violence and draw the United States into a broader conflict.

He warned that such strategies threaten regional security and undermine diplomatic efforts, urging Washington to assess the consequences of external influence on its foreign policy decisions.

Technology cannot be destroyed by force

Reinforcing Iran’s position, the foreign minister noted that bombing campaigns cannot erase scientific knowledge or technological capability. He described such approaches as ineffective and counterproductive, adding that history has repeatedly demonstrated their failure.
