Seven Palestinians, including at least four children from the Shaheen family in the Al-Zuhur neighborhood, were killed in an Israeli raid targeting a house in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources reported by Anadolu on Friday.
The attack also resulted in multiple civilian injuries from airstrikes on a house in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood and the Bureij refugee camp, as reported by Wafa news agency.
Israel’s ongoing offensive in Gaza, initiated after a cross-border attack by Hamas in October 2023, has led to devastating casualties and widespread destruction, leaving much of the territory in ruins and exacerbating hunger and disease among civilians.
International concerns over potential genocidal acts by Israel have prompted calls for humanitarian assistance to be provided to Gaza’s civilian population, with the International Court of Justice ordering Tel Aviv to take measures to prevent further atrocities.–News Desk
