Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) claimed on Tuesday that US authorities are investigating alleged links between Ukraine and Mexican drug cartels.
In a statement published on Telegram, the Russian agency alleged that members of Mexican criminal organizations travelled to Ukraine to receive training in assembling and operating combat drones.
According to the SVR, Ukrainian officials became aware that US law enforcement agencies had reportedly uncovered information suggesting cooperation between the cartels and representatives associated with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s administration.
