Prime Minister Netanyahu Commends Firefighters for Role During Operation Rising Lion
On Thursday, 26 June 2025, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the National Fire and Rescue Authority headquarters in Rishon LeZion to express his gratitude for the organization’s dedication during Operation Rising Lion.
During the visit, the Prime Minister addressed approximately 150 firefighting cadets undergoing training and later met with senior leadership of the Authority. In his remarks, Netanyahu praised the firefighters for their service, stating, “We rained down fire there, and you put out the fire here. We have a firefighting service to be proud of.”
The visit served as a gesture of national appreciation for the Authority’s efforts in managing emergency response operations amid the recent military activity.
