Israel, WFP Ensure Aid Reaches Gaza Civilians

Netanyahu and WFP Chief Discuss Humanitarian Aid for Gaza

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP), in Jerusalem to discuss the ongoing delivery of humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza.

During the meeting, both leaders emphasized the critical need to protect Gazans from hunger and malnutrition and to ensure that their fundamental necessities are met. They acknowledged a rise in humanitarian aid reaching Gaza over the past month and agreed to intensify efforts to facilitate and maintain the flow of essential supplies, given the urgent conditions on the ground.

It was also underscored that all humanitarian aid should be directed solely to civilians, with a focus on reaching the most vulnerable populations in their locations. Both parties committed to taking all possible measures to ensure aid is delivered efficiently and effectively.
