
All Pakistan Private Schools Association called the government to resume educational institutions all across Pakistan from June 1.
The president of APPSA- Kashif Mirza at a press conference in Lahore, stressed on the resumption of educational institutions as he claimed that they are running out of finance to pay the teachers.
Mirza at the press conference told that if their demand of reopening educational institutions is not considered valid and acceptable, then they having no choice will have stage protest demonstrations against the rejection of their demand, as he along other private teachers already showed disagreement on the concept of online classes and he called the following idea as a “flopped project”.
“We have formulated SOPs in accordance with international standards,” he said, urging the government to hold talks with them.
Educational institutes in Pakistan have been closed since March. The measure was taken in order to stem the spread of coronavirus.
