Russia records another 8,000+ daily COVID-19 cases

Russia on Saturday recorded 8,952 latest cases of coronavirus which brings the country’s tally to 396,575 as reported. In addition, the country has reported around 181 new death cases claimed by pandemic, raising the death toll to 4,555, according to the emergency task for of the country.

The country over the same period has been successful in making the total of recovery number 8,212 which now brings the total of recoveries to 167,469, it revealed.

An average of around 10 million tests per month have been introduced by Russia in order to protect and get speedy recovery of the patients by detecting the virus at the early experience when it is considered less contagious and less deadly.

The country further introduces two kinds of tests: polymerase chain reaction (PCR) which is aimed to diagnose COVID-19, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) which has a great result of revealing the number of people who have already been exposed to the virus before and have antibodies to it.

More than 365,200 globally have lost their lives due to infection of deadly virus in around 188 countries and regions, including the US, Russia and Brazil being the world’s most worst-hit countries from the pandemic.

Cases have been reported worldwide are more than 5.94 million, while around 2.5 million people have recovered globally. according to figures compiled by the US’ Johns Hopkins University.
