PTI plans massive rally in Peshawar for judiciary independence

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, with leaders Sher Afzal Marwat and Faisal Javed, announced a significant rally in Peshawar for the coming Sunday, aiming to be the largest in the country. Set to begin at 2 pm, the rally will call for the judiciary’s independence and the release of PTI’s founder, referred to as “prisoner number 804,” currently held in Adiala Jail. This move follows revelations of intelligence interference in judicial matters, highlighted by a letter from Islamabad High Court judges. Gohar shared insights from a recent meeting with Imran Khan, emphasizing his dedication to judicial integrity and the mobilization of PTI supporters through social media to protest oppression. Further actions include a letter from Khan to the Chief Justice of Pakistan and plans for another major gathering in Islamabad on April 6.
