Somalia separate bomb blasts kill 5 people in Mogadishu

Mogadishu, Somalia: More than four soldiers injured and two killed as a bomb blast attacked a military vehicle on the verge of the Somali capital Mogadishu, in the rouse of an IED which claimed three civilians, said officials.
A police officer in Mogadishu, Mohamed Bulle told the news agency via phone call, that the blast happened in Sinka Dheer, on the outskirts of the capital.
He stated “Three civilians were also wounded in the bomb blast. Police officials reached the crime scene and transported the wounded to hospitals”.
On a roadside bomb blast, earlier on Monday, three civilians were killed in the lower Shabelle, the southern region of the horn of Africa country.
The governor of the lower Shabelle, Ibrahim Adan confirmed the killings and the blast to the news agency over the phone.
No group except al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Shabaab group claimed responsibility for recent attacks in Somalia in the past few years.
In December 2019, about 90 people- comprising two Turkish citizens- were slaughtered and more than 150 were injured in a suicide bombing attack in the Mogadishu.–Worldwide News
